Winter season is the best time to feed the wild birds and the squirrels.  My husband has done this for years. He places up 4 or 5 feeders alongside with suet bars and hangs these in front of the home windows. It is fantastic leisure for us to look at and our pup enjoys to look at as nicely.

When I go to the retail store, I will acquire numerous loaves of bread which he will hold in the trees next to the house or place in a suet holder. Some persons think that crows are a nuisance, but I like to view them, and even the ravens come to partake of whatever feast we toss out.  I will toss old bread, pizza, cookies — whichever I have.  They will swoop down and seize whatsoever it is.  It is quite neat how significantly they can fly off with I’ve viewed them swoop down and get a piece of pizza and fly to the top of a tree.  

Just one day I experienced baked some cookies. I have to have overlooked some thing in the recipe due to the fact they came out of the oven tricky as a rock.  I determined to toss these out to the crows. The blue jays are gorgeous, and intense to some of the other scaled-down birds.  We have even had the Canada jays, which are a grey color.  Jays are big songbirds and are known for their intelligence and they keep a restricted relatives bond.  Their fondness for acorns is credited with encouraging unfold oak trees.

My beloved birds to observe are the chickadees.  My partner will stand by the feeder with sunflower seeds in his hand and they will land on his fingers.  I have attempted this numerous situations but have not experienced the enjoyment of them landing in my hand.  I will learn this right before the winter is more than. I browse recently that this tiny bird is curious and unafraid of people.  They hide seeds and other foods things to eat afterwards, they spot each product in unique spots and can remember 1000’s of hiding spots.

Grosbeaks are a recurrent hen that will come to our feeders. These rather yellow birds have a large beak that is excellent for cracking seeds.  There are a good deal of species of Grosbeaks in the world.  As with most birds the big difference in between the male and feminine are distinguished by color, the males are more brightly colored then the woman.  

We have only experienced a several cardinals arrive to our feeder, and that was a couple several years ago.  Some persons are lucky and see them typically.  A person 12 months we had a pair of them, I maintain hoping that sometime I will get to see these stunning crimson birds once again.  Men and women always say it is a indicator from heaven when you get a cardinal at your feeder.

And who else inhabits our feeders? The squirrels.  They are so fun to observe. My little Yorkie-poo, Sadie, enjoys to chase these critters. She never catches them. I think she holds herself again.  They will run from her,  bounce on the tire of the automobile. She will enjoy them and they will chatter at her. She just would like to perform with them.  

Just one night my husband woke me up at 12 a.m. to a exceptional sighting of a flying squirrel.  They have much larger eyes, and they are to some degree greater than a frequent squirrel and you can see the apron on each and every aspect that is their traveling apparatus.  It was cool to see these wild critters even if it was early in the morning.
