Just in time for Easter, a rescue cat named Crash has been named this year’s Cadbury Bunny.
Cadbury’s 5th Annual Bunny Tryouts “Rescue Animals Version” ended on Tuesday with a winner topped.
Crash — from Boise, Idaho — was awarded his bunny ears as the 1st-ever cat to gain the title.

The cat gained an “outstanding selection of votes from animal enthusiasts throughout the region,” according to a push launch from Cadbury.
Eight-calendar year-previous Crash was rescued following surviving a car incident that left him severely wounded and with only a person eye.
The cat healed at a nearby shelter, where his quirky persona manufactured “every person speedily tumble head around heels for him,” Cadbury thorough.

Crash’s owner, Maddie Corey, is “jumping for joy” at the news of her cat’s massive get, she stated in a statement.

The cat (and his loved ones!) will also get a cash prize of $5,000 and an additional $5,000 to be donated to an animal shelter of decision.
Cadbury is continuing its longstanding partnership with the ASPCA and celebrated year 5 of the tryouts with a $20,000 donation.
