An Iowa puppy was so fired up to go to dog camp that she unintentionally pulled the hearth alarm!

Birdie goes to pet camp on Friday at Dogwoods Lodge in Grimes.

“She just arrived for working day camp and was just bouncing about and bounced into the fireplace alarm, pushed it in, pulled it down and that was it,” stated Jessica Tapper, proprietor of Dogwoods Lodge.

The mischief was caught on Dogwoods Lodge’s protection digital camera. Online video footage demonstrates Birdie leaping and hitting the alarm, prompting a check out from Grimes firefighters.
